Lincoln Receives Highest Loyalty Rating

The Lincoln Motor Company boasts the luxury automotive segment's highest loyalty rate among new luxury vehicle buyers in the first quarter of 2017, according to IHS Markit Loyalty Data. The brand's momentum has been fueled by the Lincoln MKC, Lincoln MKX and Lincoln MKZ, as well as the recent introduction of the Lincoln Continental.

In a release, Kumar Galhotra, President, The Lincoln Motor Company, stated, “For Lincoln, it’s about providing quality vehicles and exemplary service. This tells us we’re moving in the right direction.”

Lincoln's emphasis on service is evinced by the company's exclusive Pickup and Delivery Service, which is now included with all 2017 vehicles. In this program, a Lincoln Service Valet picks up a customer's vehicle for a service appointment from any location, provides a complimentary Lincoln loaner and returns the freshly washed vehicle to a destination of the client's choosing once the service is completed.

Brand loyalty is determined when a household that owns a new vehicle returns to the automotive market and purchases or leases another new vehicle of the same make, model or manufacturer. First quarter data is based on January 2017 through March 2017 loyalty analytics from IHS Markit. Lincoln sales have increased 6 percent this year, outperforming the luxury segment average of 2 percent.
