We'd be willing to bet that there might be people out there in Lubbock, TX who don't know how to defog their windshield when stuff builds up on it. That's okay, it can be rare that we get foggy windows, because our weather, but when you do, you should know what to do, and at Gene Messer Lincoln Lubbock we are here to tell you how.
If you put your air setting on the defroster/defogger, which looks like a windshield with air rising on it, that's step one. Then, turn your fan speed up to full blast, and the air all the way to cool, with the air conditioning on. This helps get the fog to go away as quick as possible. You should also have the fresh air intake setting on. That's the one that has the car with the airflow going into it from the outside. It's next to the recirculated air button, which is the car with the sideways U-shape in it.
Now, watch as the fog disappears. Knowing this is just another way you know your vehicle closely, and what to do in any situation. If you want to learn more, contact in our showroom and we'd be happy to discuss other auto tips and arrange test drives in new Lincoln vehicles today.
